The T.E.A.M. Approach To Respect

‘Respect Workshop’ is all about understanding Respect and developing practical skills in Generating Respect and Managing Disrespect between staff to staff and staff to students.

This seminar is a culmination of years of actual experience of teaching and counselling.  What you have here is an outline of tried and tested practical ways of developing respect and managing disrespect with young people from an empathic understanding of each person’s unique personality style.

Objectives:

After participating in this program, teachers will be able to:

1 Clarify an understanding of Contemporary Youth Culture and the Professionals culture/background and how that impacts upon the Respect issue.

2 Examine and identify  practical skills in Generating Respect and Managing Disrespect through:

  1. I.  Awareness of personality trends/profiles specific to respect /disrespect.
  2. II. Understanding of behaviour patterns.
  3. III. Implications of Result versus Relationship dynamic.
  4. IV.Implications of Relationship versus Risk dynamic.
  5. V. Analysis of Points of Conflict Paradigm.
  6. VI.Development of a Personal Plan for Adjustment.
