Sensational New Leadership Seminar

tall.jpgExploring leadership beyond the “badge” understanding how everyone is a leader.
This is a highly interactive enjoyable and fun workshop designed to empower a group to articulate in metaphorical language what leadership means to them and their responsibilities to such a leadership role.

The primary process is a sequence of activities designed to create a framework for the individual to assess their own definition of leadership in comparison with their peers.

This workshop highlights the value and importance of remembering our history and heritage – “He who fails to remember his history is like a tree without roots, a building without foundations!”.  Much of our history links to our current beliefs about leadership - through examining Australian states men and women such as Caroline Chisholm (the lady on the paper $5 note), David Uniapon (the man of the $50 note), John Simpson Kirkpatrick (Simpson and his donkey) participants develop significant insights to creating a healthy impacting leadership attitude.

Leadership is… equips and empowers students by...

•    Develop a greater sense of motivation through developing increased self esteem and confidence by
•    listening and participating in a team experience of their fellow peer leaders.
•    Explore and understand significant Australian leaders, known and unknown.
•    Develop an awareness of the Kiekegaardian model of leadership roles, Audience, Actor, Scriptwriter.

“Peer Power has a unique way of tapping in to what matters to students. They always find the right tone and the right pitch to convince our young women they have the potential to lead and the skills they need to make the difference they wish to see.” Wendy Lauman, Dean of Students, St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School

“Peer Power seminars engage students in leadership conversations and then equip them with the practical skills to embrace and excel in leadership roles.” Dr Regan Neumann, College Executive Principal Kelvin Grove State College
